The Terry Demming Foundation
The Terry Demming Foundation honors the life of Terry Demming, who passed away in 2018 at 7 years old in a drowning accident. Terry was a natural born athlete, blessed with talent and grace at every sport he tried. He loved to be outside playing sports, particularly baseball and football.
​
In memory of Terry's joyous love of everything baseball, the Terry Demming Foundation has announced its 2023 Spring and Fall Event Schedule. The Annual Terry Demming Memorial Game was played on on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 7:00PM at Terry Demming Field in Glenfield Park in Montclair, New Jersey. The second Annual Terry Demming Memorial Game took place on Monday June 19th at 7:00PM at Glenfield Park in Montclair New Jersey.

Water Safety
Water safety is a significant public health issue. Over 3,500 people lose their lives in swimming pools each year and approximately one third of these are children. Furthermore, children of color are 7.6 times more likely to drown compared to children of other ethnic backgrounds, an issue exacerbated by a lack of swimming education, swim training, and basic water safety preparedness.
The Terry Demming Foundation will focus on this issue with the objective of developing content, training, and best practices to support mitigation of this significant public health issue.
