Updated: Jun 23, 2022

On June 17, 2022, the first annual Terry Demming Foundation Memorial Game was played at Glenfield Park in Montclair New Jersey. The 10U Montclair Bulldogs and the 10U Bergen Crush played a great game, and in the spirit of good sportsmanship, the close game concluded in a 5-5 tie.

Prior to the start of the game, the players gathered at home plate at the Essex County Baseball Field in Glenfield Park, Montclair.

Players from the Montclair Bulldogs, the team Terry would have been a member of, presented Terry's grandmother, Florence Demming with flowers following comments from Vincent Demming, President of the Board of Directors for the Foundation.

This first game was the start of planning for the 2023 event, which will include a full tournament for multiple levels of participants.

The Bergen Crush honored Terry and his father by presenting him with a Bergen Crush jersey with Terry's number #2 printed on it.

The Bulldogs played an inspired game. The entire team played brilliant defense with outstanding plays. Led by Terry's teammate, Andres "Sebi" Bermeo, who pitched an effective game, walking two and allowing only 5 runs, the entire team contributed. In the spirit of the evening, the game ended in a 5-5 tie.
